Family Education Ministry

And, ye fathers , provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. – Ephesians 6:4 Grace Covenant Church encourages education at all levels to the glory of God. We recognize the strategic importance of learning in the kingdom of God. We believe that the desire to know truth motivates Christians to study. To combat the onslaught of humanistic relativism, parents must provide an education for their children based on a Biblical world view. We endeavor to support parents in this responsibility. Most of our families are involved in home schooling and can advise and encourage others interested in this way of fulfilling the Biblical mandate to educate their children. Ministerial Education Ministry

The Old Testament in Hebrew…and the New Testament in Greek…, being immediately inspired by God, and by his singular care and providence kept pure in all ages, are therefore authentic; so as in all controversies of religion, the church is finally to appeal to them. — 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, reaffirmed by Original, Historical Baptists at Fulton, KY in 1900. Pastor Rogers offers a Beginners’ Greek class on an as-needed basis. The text typically used isThe Essentials of New Testament Greek by Ray Summers and revised by Thomas Sawyer. Other classes can be arranged for Church History, Baptist History, Hermeneutics, Systematic Theology, Eschatology, etc. Contact the church to schedule any of these classes.
